Richard’s credentials, training, experience and standards:
Richard is a Bristol acupuncturist with over 30 years’ full-time experience, having delivered more than 18,000 treatments.
He trained for three years under internationally renowned Professor J.R. Worsley at the College of Traditional Acupuncture, graduating in 1995.
Richard is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (Membership No. 955213).
Richard has written for leaflets (for the NHS) explaining how acupuncture can support patient care.
He is also listed in the NHS Directory of Acupuncturists and takes referrals from The Pain Clinic at Southmead Hospital, a nationally recognised centre of excellence for pain management.
Post graduate training
Later Richard trained for a further two years at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading.
He continues to study to stay current with the latest techniques and approaches.
When Richard was in his thirties he also trained & worked as a volunteer counsellor for ‘Off the Record’, a young peoples counselling agency in Bristol.
